The 209 Freedom Project's mission is to spread awareness and knowledge in our communities to combat Human Trafficking.

Community Involvement

Increase community involvement to reflect diversity of Stanislaus County.

Education

Provide the public with education and empowerment through advertising, events and outreach about the realities of Human Trafficking.

Identify & Secure

Ensure that all forms of human trafficking are identified and secure sustainability through funding partnerships of 209 Freedom Project of Stanislaus County.

Strategize

Strategize coordinated and informed Law Enforcement response to ALL forms of human trafficking.

About 209 Freedom Project


Human Trafficking is a very real concern in this county, our state and the country. It is a serious crime that is no longer in the shadows. Whether we are talking about labor trafficking or sex trafficking, the victims endure tremendous abuse and the perpetrators seek to profit off of them.


Law enforcement, non-profit organizations and community services have joined forces to combat this crime in Stanislaus County. The 209 Freedom Project is a task force designed to organize and mobilize resources to apprehend and prosecute offenders, provide services to survivors of trafficking and to educate the community.
